What should I expect from my first session?
Your first session will begin with a short client consultation, this is merely a conversation between the therapist and client to discuss any issues, aches or pains the client has. The therapist will also take some background information to gauge how day-to-day activities may be affecting the body. This will be followed by a postural assessment which will lead into the treatment session. This will all be therapist led and discussed with the client before starting.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Loose fitting clothing is preferred, shorts and a t-shirt is perfect! This clothing will allow the therapist to roll up any garments into a towel to keep them safe from any oils or lotions used to massage. Female clients, clasped bras are more versatile than sports bra's if treating the back!
What do I need to bring?
Nothing! For the treatment session nothing is required, loose clothing is preferable but not mandatory.
How many sessions will I need? Can I have only one?
The amount of sessions recommended and your treatment plan depends on the issues and discomforts felt and the your individual aims for the massage. You can book in for a one off session, but it may be that multiple sessions are recommended, this will be discussed at your appointment.
How do I pay?
Payments can be done at the treatment session via card payment. We accept contactless and card payments, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express
